Here are some precious wildflower babies I sketched and painted as part of my Wildflowers Wild Art class. Painting with watercolor--something I've always wanted to learn--is much easier than I ever thought it would be. I simply sketched the flower shapes. Then I dropped color onto the paper, allowed it to dry, and layered more color over it. I finished the pictures with pen work.
I enjoyed learning this technique immensely--I wish I could adequately describe how much! Because I created these pictures simultaneously, I worked quickly which stifled my inner critic. And I'm pleased with the results!
