Today I finished creating my own art journal out of an old hard-bound book. This is a process I learned from artist, photographer, and farm girl Junelle Jacobsen via this blog post. It involves tearing pages out of the book and smearing the remaining pages with gesso. It reminds me of fingerpainting in preschool--complete bliss!
And now to fill these prepared pages with whatever art I want to create. (I have already begun!)
